Hello, Readers.
Eloise, here,
staying strong as I finish out the school year.
Lots of positive self talk going on around the Lamp Post.
(aloud, to me and the pets)
To my fellow teacher friends:
I've been steadily a part of public education
since I entered Kindergarten in 1976,
so I know what to expect.
There is an excitement at the end of every school year
that I wish I could bottle up
and save for low motivation days.
I'm not much for ceremonies,
but I do love high school graduation.
Amidst the joy and relief the evening brings,
I always shed a tear or two.
I'm looking forward to a little breathing room
this weekend.
Just a few open hours that creates a space to breathe.
My greenhouse is calling me--
we still have many planting projects.
That is a great space to breathe.
And if you can't find me there,
you'll find me in 1930s India.
I'm reading this:
origin and such.
I'm a word nerd.
Covenant:
a promise between two parties
Here is a covenant ON water,
found at Presque Isle this week.
They watch
and they learn.
I wonder if their mommas weep when they graduate.
Now I'm headed to do some breathing of the yoga variety.
Here's my favorite lady (and dog) to follow
if you haven't found Adriene (and Benji) yet.
Have a nice weekend, Readers.
See you in June!
Eloise
