Lesson 624: Holidaze

Merry Christmas, Readers!
Best of our holiday wishes from the Lamp Post.

The weather has been unseasonably warm in Erie.

The nights have been calm and clear,

the mornings bright and sparkly.

Christmas Eve the temps were in the 50's.

We didn't need coats to head to the Grace service
at Erie's beautiful Warner Theater.

The day quietly settled into a calm evening
with some piano playing from Sam.

Christmas Day sunrise was spectacular,

leading into another day of warm temperatures.

More togetherness,

more gifts,

and lots of Christmas surprises
all opened from our assigned spots.

We even had a surprise visitor from Canton, Ohio,
with is elves Patrick and Peppermint!

The two days post Christmas I haven't done too much
besides shuffle new gifts around the house.
I've been in a bit of a Holidaze.
I told my family that unless your name was
Tim McGraw
or Jimmy Carter,
don't bother me with anything.
Amazingly, they didn't.

Eloise is feeling more rested
and back to normal,
just in time to cheer for the Huskies
in the holiday basketball tournament!

I've already started working on my favorite post of the year--
The Lamp Post Year in Review.
Check back next Tuesday for a look-back of 2019.
It was quite a year.

Peace to you the last few days of '19.
Eloise
