Lesson 878: It Was a Merry Christmas

Happy weekend, Readers.
I'm glad we are spending
the last weekend of the year together.

The Lamp Posters
who willingly put pieces and parts
of our lives on display
every week,
wish you happy holidays!

For my family,
that means celebrating Christmas.

We made Santa's Nice List

He snuck in Christmas Eve,

and came in full display
on Christmas morning.

My gang enjoys giving gifts
far more than receiving them.

They love a good party, too.
The Holly Trail is always a blast.

Literally.
Pajama themed this year.

Some of us are luckier than others.
Natalie is riding the luck train lately.
She won the highest money envelope
in the Christmas drawing,
and got a tube of her favorite
bag balm lip balm
in the Christmas Cup Game.
She won the 50-50
at the Girard Basketball Game, too!

Sam was not so lucky at that game
as the Huskies lost by 3 at the buzzer.

Sam fell short in the Christmas Cup Game,
winning two Reese's peanut butter cups.
Was Ellen a winner or a loser
with a string of 8 paper clips.
Not thrilling,
but they do come in handy
when you need them.

The Holly Trailers
all cooperated
(for once)
for this near-perfect snapshot
with a phone timer.

The pajama clad gang
wishes you all a very merry Christmas
and a happy New Year!

Speaking of the New Year,
Eloise is underway
with her yearly project,
The Lamp Post Year in Review.
It takes 2-3 days to go through
all of the blogs
and photos
for its creation.

Look for the bonus post
on Tuesday, December 31st!

Eloise
