Lesson 889: Thank you for the Music

 Hello, Readers!

We are one week into

this bipolar month of March.

I've been tracking

Lion days

and Lamb days.

Looks like Lion

ate the Lamb tonight--

we are getting a lot of snow!

It was also Sap Day!

It has to burn outside on an open fire

for at least 12 hours.

Mr. Lamp Post was outside all day

and is frozen to the bone.

He smells like a July campfire.

This week was also my birthday.

I asked my Mamma

about the day of my birth.

It was a lot like today, she reflected.

Then I did what any good daughter

of an almost 80 year old would do--

I fact checked her!

The old girl was right.

Send some well wishes to my Mamma.

She was sick and needed medicine.

She had a reaction to it

that was worse than the initial illness.

We want my Mamma to heal by Sunday

so she can catch the 2:00 show!

Harbor Creek High School Presents:

                                                                Saying we LOVED it

would be an understatement.

I'm on the hunt for a pair of bell bottoms

and when I find them,

I'm wearing them to school.

The rest of the photos from the week

will be interspersed

with the lyrics of my favorite song

from the show,

Thank You for the Music.

I recommend playing the song from the link

and have it play while you read through the lyrics

at the bottom of the blog.

The song reminds me of me!

I don't sing,

I write stories.

So I guess that makes you Readers

my music.

Thank you for the music, Readers.

Eloise

I'm nothing special, in fact, I'm a bit of a bore
When I tell a joke, you've probably heard it before
But I have a talent, a wonderful thing
'Cause everyone listens when I start to sing
I'm so grateful and proud
All I want is to sing it out loud

So I say
Thank you for the music, the songs I'm singing
Thanks for all the joy they're bringing
Who can live without it, I ask in all honesty
What would life be?
Without a song or a dance what are we?
So I say thank you for the music
For giving it to me

Mother says I was a dancer before I could walk
She says I began to sing long before I could talk
But I often wonder, how did it all start
Who found out that nothing could capture a heart
Like a melody can
Well, whoever it was, I'm a fan

So I say
Thank you for the music, the songs I'm singing
Thanks for all the joy they're bringing
Who can live without it, I ask in all honesty
What would life be?
Without a song or a dance what are we?
So I say thank you for the music
For giving it to me

I've been so lucky, I am the girl with golden hair
I want to sing it out to everybody
What a joy, what a life, what a chance

Thank you for the music, the songs I'm singing
Thanks for all the joy they're bringing
Who can live without it, I ask in all honesty
What would life be?
Without a song or a dance what are we?
So I say thank you for the music
For giving it to me
So I say thank you for the music
For giving it to me
