Lesson 894: Spectrum

Hello, Readers.
Despite having 30 days
instead of 31,
April is a long month
in Erie.

It's rainy and cold
most of the time.

The varsity baseball game
ended on Monday,
just before the snow squall.

Beginning of the season bundles
were seated all around.

Baseball in Erie  experiences the full weather spectrum --
freezing cold in April
to the humid heat of August.

We hope you are watching
Love on the Spectrum.

Season 3 opened on Netflix
on Autism Awareness Day.

Weekend Homework due Monday:
Watch one episode.
Season 3 is my favorite.

Soon,
Abby
Tanner
and
Connor
will be household names.

We learn the word spectrum
as a classification system
to show a point within a broad continuum.

spec·trum
/ˈspektrəm/
noun
  1. 1.
a band of colors, as seen in a rainbow, produced by separation of the components of light by their different degrees of refraction according to wavelength.
  2. 2.
used to classify something, or suggest that it can be classified, in terms of its position on a scale between two extreme or opposite points.

I much prefer the first definition.

Here are my colorful rainbows!

The Gliding Stars skated  right into our hearts

at their season-end show last weekend.

Where do these family members fall

on the Bravery Spectrum.

At the very, very top!

Penny and Hazel
would like to thank you
for reading this blog tonight.

Someone told me it's Pet Day.
so Happy Pet Day!

And here is their friend Gus.

Enjoy the weekend,
and don't forget your homework.
It's mandatory.
