Lesson 957: Momma's Back

 Hello, Readers.

How are you doing?

This weekly conversation we have going

is always so one sided.

Feel free to share in the comments

what you are up to this summer.

I'm a street cop for the fun and interesting.

Drop me a tip,

and I'll follow the lead.

Here are some things I've been up to

in my first full week at home,

restructuring my home,

my garden,

and my wildlife.

The only Bigfoots we found were these:

and him

Coach Alex was his roommate Freshman year.

We drove into a crazy bad rain storm on Sunday
to bring Momma back to the ranch.

The ducks were standing as sentries upon my arrival.

Momma bird kept her babies warm
and safe in the nest.

Welcome to the neighborhood, Little One.
Your momma will keep you safe, too.

On the food front,
these are my favorite flavors
so far this summer.

Strawberry jam was made today
by loving hands.

Our third round of flower planting
was underway this week.,
and we started with these:

What an amazing book!
Please read it!

Halfway through
and look at all of the good parts!

Funny of the week:

Prayer hands extended upwards
to the Marienville churches
for great signage.

Double thumbs down
for the sign above the Titusville
Sports Complex.

And while we are on the topic
of unpleasant subjects---
look who has made the news!

My old foe--
the Lonestar tick,
which is believed to be the root
of some health challenges.
Pioneer Woman's son-in-law,
Mauricio has alpha gal.

As I started the blog,
I will also end it--
please let me know if you know
anyone with alpha gal
or has had an experience with the
Lonestar Tick.

I don't like to end blogs
or Friday nights with
stressful things
and baseball game losses,
but sometimes life is like that.

Still,
Eloise will be ending her night with a snerdle.

I'll meet you at the Lamp Post next week,
same time,
same place.

Eloise
