Hello, Readers.
Eloise is a day late,
and $500 dollars short
in the posting of this blog.
I could blame the weather.
Last weekend we were all praying
for the snow to stop.
The robins were hanging out on the bare spots
on the road,
confused.
It's OK, Momma Robin.
Donkey is still trying to figure it all out, too.
By midweek,
the sun came out.
We are happy that Grandpa has a brand new knee!
Things were looking up!
Even the flowers were trying to fight their way to life.
Once everything was stable at the Lamp Post,
Eloise and sister Kenyan
headed out on a 28 hour,
767 mile adventure.
Traveling with my sister
is an continuous string of emotion,
due to a combination of
sugar consumption
and road rage.
We passed beautiful farms as we traveled
through our great state of Pennsylvania.
The bare trees moved from buds
to blossoms.
We snagged Ellen Louise
from her class trip to Washington DC.
We brought her to Pittsburgh early Saturday morning
for an interview for a scholarship.
She's down to the final 6!
We snagged Cousin Jack from Duquesne
and made good on our ball team promise from last year.
We loved No Off Season in Tarentum, PA
so much,
we gave it another go
for the season opening tournament this year.
The boys started off the weekend with back to back wins!
It doesn't surprise Eloise at all.
I went for a walk with my best friend
earlier this week
and we spied the team practicing.
Eloise has to go reattach her head
to her body
because it spun off.
Rest is desperately needed
before round 3 of the weekend warpath.
After tomorrow's trip
the weekend total mileage will be
1,067!
Eloise
