Lesson 948: Green (again)

Hello Readers!

Eloise, here.

We have reached the weekend

and it's a green one.

What a difference a week makes in mid-April!

Last week:

This week:

The color of the day last Sunday
was Sand and Lake Blue,
as the A-Team and I took a ride around the peninsula.

Sometimes it is nice to be the only ones on the beach!

The Clark School tree, just below the north hill,
 is greening up.

The kids are getting outside for recess
for some nice fresh air.

Just over that Clark School southern hill
is Harbor Ridge Golf Course.
They hit up the driving range on Sunday
and the course tonight.

The Queen gives her pro tips.

A big congratulations to Ellen!
She is the new Harbor Creek High School Lady Huskies Golf Coach!

I'll capitalize on the science fiction reference
and shout from the rooftops out into the cosmos--

GO SEE PROJECT HAIL MARY!!

This is the movie

And here is the book

Witty and exciting is the perfect description.
Reading the book,
then watching the movie
is the best way to experience a story.

After reading it,
the story never left me.
I kept thinking about it.
I could not imagine how anyone
could put that story into pictures.
It would be impossible.
Almost as impossible as saving the world.

But...
they did it.

I'm not going to link the movie trailer
because it gives too much away if you are making your way
through the story.

Here is someone else's
book to movie adaptation thumbs-up rating.
Do you agree?

Here's an adaptation for you--
we went to a Behrend baseball game
and sat on the AWAY side!

Jake donned his Gannon jersey
and we showed up to watch him play!

Sam will be playing for the American Legion this summer,
so we aren't putting our gear away yet.
He has three weeks left,
and his freshman year of college will be done.

We catch the Huskies at home when
the weather isn't doesn't leave the ground like this:

Super fun with 8 dog paws.

This little thing is driving my dogs nuts.
It toys with them outside of their watchdog window.

Look at the beautiful red stripe!

Here are the little things driving Mr. Lamp Post nuts.

He got the best of them on Tuesday evening.

They got the best of him this morning--not one bite!

I like the color green.

As I was thinking of a blog title for tonight,
it ran an emerald little bell.
Had I used it once before?

Looking back,
I did use it in a similar title
back in 2017.

It's fun for me to look back,
seeing how far we've traveled in our timeline.

Goodnight, good Earth,
and the good people of it.
