Lesson 949: Wavelength

Hello, Readers!

We'll start off with Science Class this week.

Remember this?

White light breaks down into colors of the visible spectrum.

Each color has a wavelength.

Let's start with 620-750's

That was a great flavor!

Now for the 590-620's

570-590

495-570

450-495

and 380-450!

Grand are the colors of Spring!

If you ride my wavelength on books,
here are my recent reads!

Gus is a very smart cat!
He likes to read
and recommends this illustrated version of Harry Potter.

5 stars for this Newbery winner from 2024!

lots of tabs for the good parts.

The story is interspersed with beautiful artwork.

I liked Theo of Golden.

It's a solid three star read
given the number of side tabs for the good parts.

It had some issues though,
evidenced by the top tabs.
They wave like red flags
and invite discussion if you ever check out the book
from the Lamp Post library.

I picked this up from the public library.
Jimmy would approve that I used the library.

Catchy title---
but not.
I wish it had a better one.
Lots of this research I read during my Master Gardner certification.
Did you all catch the plant leaves
that made up the words in the title?
In elementary school we call that foreshadowing.
Eat your plants!

Gus and I are glad you rode our wavelength tonight.

Sam and Anna are game players,

and this is their recent find.

It's fun!

But now,

let's follow Gus's lead.

Time for rest!

Eloise
