Happy Valentine's Day, Readers!
There are so many things to love about this week.
The sunrise over the snow was just one of them.
The softly falling white stuff
stuck perfectly to the trees
all day on Thursday,
making my hometown
the envy of those living in the south...
at least for a day or two.
Today the temperatures stayed in teens.
Snuggling weather!
Eloise should have headed out for a walk in the park this morning.
Hopes are high in finding Hazel a boyfriend.
A Dogbook search has lead us
to a fella down the road
who likes to chew couches.
Match made in heaven.
There are so many things to love about Valentine's Day.
Flowers,
Surprise mail.
Giant card from my sweetheart!
Sam couldn't be outdone,
so he bought this giant box of chocolates
for the ladies in the house.
I'm sure he'll help us chip away at them.
Natalie jumped in the game with a giant
heart of chocolates
for her kind co-workers at Penn State Behrend.
These two have the biggest hearts
out of anyone I know.
Llama balloons.
Cards.
Candy and six foot phone chargers.
Doing a holiday up right
makes me happy
(and stimulates our economy).
This podcast makes me happy.
I listened to a few of the newer post
and like the light and happy suggestions from the two sisters,
so I started from the beginning.
If you go to the first episode in 2015,
it's interesting to hear what they have to say about
facebook and other social media five years ago.
"It makes the good things better,
and the bad things worse."
Eloise's solution to the continued
observable banter
from which gross generalizations are made:
private pages.
Move your talks on religion,
politics,
or any other topic
that ignites social firestorms
to a private group,
and leave my news space
for pictures of babies,
and puppies,
and fun stuff.
Eloise loves to read--
friend Heather shared this with me.
50 States, 50 Love Stories
from the New York Times--
clink the link below.
Pennsylvania has a dumb one.
Naked, Juliet.
Naked, Juliet.
(...and you all just clicked away from me to go check THAT out).
I also love Taylor Swift's album Lover.
Eloise highly recommends the Miss Americana documentary.
Check out the trailer for it below.
I'll leave you with something
that will give you All The Feels--
Krispie Kreme conversation heart doughnuts!
Thanks, Ellen!
