Lesson 658: You Tell the Story

Well, Readers, it's been quite a week.

The Fab Five is getting ready for returns to school--

none of the starts are ho-hum,

run-of-the-mill,

same-old-same school years.

My mind has been cluttered,

and my emotions raw with

news upon shocking news this week.

My only real reprieve from buzzing thoughts has been this fabulous book.

Neighbor Amy walked it across the yard

with a simple directive;  Must. Read.

I immediately thought--

Oh, no!  No time for books now!

I want to figure out my Bitmoji classroom.

NOTE to the Questies:

Mrs. Eloise's virtual classroom DOES NOT look like this!

Right now mine looks like either a prison cell with a couch

or chairs and a bookshelf on the International Space Station.

I need to fix it before you see it!

After Neighbor Amy left,

I flopped down on a chair and opened the novel.
It had a MAP!

Eloise LOVES novels with maps in the front.

I finished this book in a couple of days.

I'll re-convey Neighbor Amy's message:

MUST.  READ.

(and it's Young Adult literature so it's fast!)

No photo description available.

For the rest of the news for the week, I'm going to employ one of my favorite lessons I do with kids:

Tell Me the Story.

I put random photos around the classroom--

anything-

torn pages from National Geographic,

old photos,

printed Google Images.

They piece together a story from them.

Done in teams or partners is really fun!

So, your assignment for the week is this--
you tell the story from the following photos.

I'll return to the keyboard next week

with a clearer head.

Eloise
