Happy windy weekend, Readers!
The weekend has been starting out cold and wet,
and the weekend is predicted to be a bit soggy.
It's the last weekend of April,
so it's time for your annual touch of the 'tism--
the latest on autism reviewed by Eloise.
Unfortunately,
we have some soggy statistics to make sense of this year.
It seems like the touch of the 'tism now reaches many.

What I am sure of are the successes in my own family.
Natalie loves making and delivering
her Happy People shirts.
She LOVES going to Sam's games.
in the wind,
rain,
and freezing cold temperatures,
and she never complained once!

Natalie has a job,
and is able to navigate the workplace safely
under the watch of some friends.
Every time we drive past the
Penn State Behrend sign on the highway,
Natalie says,
"Natalie's Behrend."
She's a hustler at work,
and she even received a note of appreciation
from her boss as proof!
She really loves the companionship
of her cousin, Erik.
They've spent every Sunday together
for years and years.
If you were the family of
an 8 year old,
who was one of the 36,
know that a nice life lies ahead.
Sometimes it just takes a little engineering
to make things work.
And if you are the family of one of the 36,
know that life does go on.
Not every part of your life will need an adaptation.
