Lesson 806: Looking Down

 Hello, Readers.

We are paddling through the month of August

quite steadily.

In fact,

here's a video to start this blog out

on a positive note.

Take a look at Natalie paddling her canoe

down the Clarion River,

and the odd,

but endearing way she uses her canoe paddle.

Natalie's other highlight--

she finally learned how to whistle!

You do you, Natalie.

Paddle your own boat any way that you like.

Take all the time you need.

Just keep on going

and keep on growing!

We spent last Saturday

looking down stream on our fun trip

on the most perfect day.

My mother has spent the entire week

looking down!

Her eye surgery was successful.
Now she has to tough out the healing,
which means keeping her head in the down position
for seven days.

Looking down the road at our cabin

was foggy one morning!

Look what we found after the fog lifted.

Eloise is down with nature!

Trees falling down provide firewood
for cozy fires when the fall rains come.

Falling down apples
get picked up
for food for animals I love to photograph.

While Penny and I were doing our driveway yoga,

we looked down to find this beautiful guy!
He hung out with us through down dog,
then crawled off on his merry little way.

I looked down through my yard
to see my dad getting the morning paper
instead of my mom this week.

I looked down the cottage wall

to find
this girl floating,

and a tiny bit of beach!

Down the fairway we found these two!

Sam is trying to be patient with himself
to get good enough at the game
for someone to want to be his partner.

He got stuck with Ellen
and she refuses to keep track of his million strokes
so she scores his holes with smiley faces.

Looking down the Walmart aisle
you may see teens making quick trips to the store
now that they have driver's licenses.

Looking down at my watch,
I realized it's getting late.
Time for bed.
Penny says so.
