Hello, Readers.
I was in a bit of a fog last week
so tired from a very full life.
In fact,
everyone kept asking me if I was sick.
Starts to get in your head after awhile.
So,
after the third time someone asked if I was feeling ok,
I told my colleague
I was suffering from
an Acute Case of Life.
Here is a smidge of
what contributed to my fatigue.
We had some literal fog the past week.
I love fog!
Can you spot the spotted cows?
The cemetery at South Harborcreek United Methodist Church
is always on my drive-by list
when there is fog.
The fog was starting to lift
when I spotted this dove.
I named it Lonesome Dove,
because it was all by itself.
And because it is because it is my current read.
and warmed the earth,
and brought many friends for the dove,
so it wasn't lonesome anymore.
The sunrise was almost as pretty
as this young lady
with the glow
of a fresh graduate.
Miss Ellen Lousie
SLP to Be.
This was the horse I pulled in our
Family Random Drawing.
#13--Publisher.
I was digging my pick
as much as those hooves were digging into
a very muddy track!
We watched it in high style--
in the barn.
Natalie was a winner
because she got to hold the new baby.
But the real winner was this wee one--
she pulled the winning horse!
Sam got to play at the historic
Ainsworth Field
this week!
It was a chilly game
with a biting wind.
That's what I love about the game.
You never know what you are going to get.
Sam played
first base
and a little outfield.
At one point in the game,
all the outfielders were left handed!
A good game
ended in the sunset
and a win for the Huskies.
We almost caught the sunset tonight
at Harbor Ridge Golf Course.
They hit a bucket of balls
Queen drank her coffee from a lawn chair
and watched.
And Eloise had the dogs.
Walking the dogs is one of my
favorite, ordinary
things to do.
The highlight of my evening
was finding the momma killdeer
and her babies.
She led me on a little chase,
away from her precious babies.
She flopped around,
pretending her wing was broken.
An acute case of a Mother's Love.
Happy Mother's Day
to all the mom's out there.
Eloise
