Lesson 751: Hello, June!

 Hello, Readers

and

Hello, June!

It's an exciting month for kids with the ending of the school year.

Soon, they will be running free
like my dogs do in the field in Marienville.

I'm looking forward to spending more time in nature,

one of my favorite things!

There is a world of discoveries

right in front of you.

If you would like to make a trip to the big woods of Marienville
next weekend,
you can help us look for Sasquatch.

Here is the link for the schedule of events:

This Bigfoot Hunt looks fun!
If he walks by the cabin,
Penny, Hazel,
and our two favorite Boxers will have something to say about it.

Now through next week, though,
I'll be spending time finishing up the school year
with my own resident Bigfoot.

His sisters,
two with two legs
and
two with four legs,
have been absent from photos this week
as we've been running around the county for baseball.

The high school team put their season to rest
last weekend.

The ladies ended their run on Memorial Day.

Now Sam and his friends have moved into Legion Ball
and they are sporting the red, white, and blue this year
for Wesleyville Post 571.

Sam finished up his last school project this week after a game.
The Battle of Dunker Church.

Sam highlighted he key soldiers

for both sides

and some dead guys in a corn field.

Eloise knows how Mother Bird feels,
always searching for food ideas for her babies.
Providing food for my family
is one of the most challenging things about summer.

Readers,
do you have suggestions for summer food ideas for my tribe?

The girls eat mostly light meals and veggies,
love charcuterie boards,
and use chicken or fish as their main protein.

Bacon is a food group for Natalie.

Ellen is allergic to eggs.

Eloise loves eggs.

I need relatively healthy belly-fillers
for Sam and his buddies.

Louie likes beef.

Beef does not agree with Eloise.

The dogs think they are people
and won't even eat this top dollar pet food.
They prefer anything that is on MY plate.

Eloise
