Lesson 780: Direction

 Hello, Readers.

You are headed in the right direction

if you found your way to the Lamp Post!

I love the wording of the definition of DIRECTION.

di·rec·tion
/dəˈrekSHən,dīˈrekSHən/
noun
  1. 1.
a course along which someone or something moves.

  2. "she set off in the opposite direction"

The weather.
That's something that's moving along a course.

An icy course this week!

Ellen is moving along her course.

Her American Sign Language class met
at the big 'Boro vs Gannon Ladies game.
This is Ellen and her cousin Angie,
who also signs.

Ellen's Speech and Hearing Club received a reward
for their outreach.

She also finished a novel!
I'm always after my family to read
and none of them sit long enough to read anything.
This book is a bout deaf culture and it's really good.

Sam's course is always moving along in fast motion.

He'll sit your dogs while you are away.

Just make sure your light fixtures
are hung high enough
so he doesn't bash his head off of them.

It's time for play-off basketball.

They are always the most exciting games of any sports season!

Natalie's direction is always moving forward consistently.

She won the raffle basket at tonight's
Integrated Sports Bocce Tournament.

These gold medalists are moving on to region play in DuBois.

So, what direction is Old Eloise moving in?
Forward--
trouncing along on my happy path.
We got in a few happy walks last weekend.
Nothing makes me happier than
walking with my camera and my family--
two legged
and four legged ones.

Camp was really pretty!

While Ellen was finishing up True Biz,
I made a Blind Date with a Book!

This is the book that was inside!

On the way home from camp
we drove by a field in Corry and saw this:

We also walked the trails up
at the old Gospel Hill Golf Course.

They are nice and wide,
but muddy in spots
so wear some boots!

It's so big,
we actually go a little lost!
It felt good to wander though.

Enjoy your weekend
moving in your own direction!

Eloise
